May 5 - Change in Grape Season:

Chilean grapes are nearly gone for the year and that means California grapes are on the way! You could see some good prices on remaining Thompson seedless grapes from Chile. These grapes will be sweet, but be aware that the quality might not hold very long.

Expect the first green perlette grapes from California to start showing up in stores within a couple of weeks. Early perlettes tend to be a bit tart, but select the larger and slightly yellowed fruit for the sweetest results.
