1 lb Lean Hamburger1/4 lb Sausage meat1 Onion1 tsp Parsley1 cup Dry bread soaked in the milk1 Egg2 cups consomme1/4 cup Milk2 tbsp butter2 tbsp flour
Combine meats, onions and parsley. Add bread, egg, salt & pepper. Chill.Form into small balls and roll in flour. Brown on all sides in fry pan.Sauce: 2 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp flour, 2 cups consomme, parsley, tymeand bay leaf. Melt butter, stir in flour and then add consomme andseasonings. Stir till thickens and add meatballs, simmer for 20 min.
Do not store potatoes in the refrigerator. Refrigeration converts the starch in potatoes to sugar which will cause the potato to darken when cooked.
