4 pcs. Chicken drumsticks1 cup uncooked rice2 tbsp.fish salt (patis)6 cups water1 tsp.grated ginger1 tbsp.minced garlic1 tbsp.minced red onions3 tbsp. oilsalt and pepper to tasteMinced spring onion leaves
Wash uncooked rice and set aside.Saute garlic with oil until brown,add onion and ginger.Mix chicken drumsticks and fish salt(patis)Cover and simmer for 2 minutes.Add water and uncooked rice,stirring constantly for a minute then,cover to simmer for 20 minutes under low fire until rice is cooked. Add salt and pepper. Serve in a bowl and sprinkle minced spring onion leaves on top.Makes 4 servings.
