2 1/2 c. flour1/4 tsp salt1/2 tsp baking soda2 tsp baking powder3/4 c. brown sugar2/3 c. water2 tbsp oilSesame seeds
Sift together dry ingredients. Mix brown sugar, water and oil; add to flour mixture. Mix to blend. With a teaspoon, take bits of batter, then roll in sesame seeds. Fry in deep hot fat until brown.
In general, good-quality plums will be fairly firm to slightly soft with smooth skin.
