1 onion, minced2 teaspoons thyme2 teaspoons salt1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper2 cloves garlic, minced1/2 cup olive oil1/4 cup soy sauce6 pork steaks, 1 inch thick1/3 cup fresh lemon juicezest of 1 Lemon
Preheat a gas grill. Combine the onion, thyme, salt, and peppersin a small bowl. Add the garlic, olive oil, and soy sauce; whiskuntil thoroughly blended. Wipe the steaks with paper towel and coatwith lemon juice. Brush each side of the steaks with the sauce.Sear the steaks over high heat and sprinkle with the lemon zest.Remove to the cool side of the grill and close the lid. Basteliberally with the remaining sauce while cooking about 10 minutesper side or until the steaks reach an internal temperature of 170degrees.
