1/8 lb. sausage mild1 lb. ground venisonSalt and pepper1 egg1 small onion1 tbsp. bacon grease1/8 tsp. thyme1/8 tsp. oregano1 small clove garlic, finely chopped1/8 tsp. ground ginger1/8 cup sweet cider
Mix sausage and ground venison. Combine with remaining ingredients exceptr cider. Brown until almost done. Add cider and finish cooking.
Potato Storage
Do not store potatoes in the refrigerator. Refrigeration converts the starch in potatoes to sugar which will cause the potato to darken when cooked.
