1 cup butter2 cup sugar1 tsp. vanilla4 eggs3 cup flour1 tsp each salt, cream of tartar, cinnamon1/2 tsp baking soda3/4 cup sour cream2 tsp. grated orange peel2 cup pitted, diced prune plums
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each. Add vanilla.Add sour cream mixture alternately to creamed mixture with flour mixture. Add plums. Divide between 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until done. Cool 10 minutes then remove from pans.
Do not store potatoes in the refrigerator. Refrigeration converts the starch in potatoes to sugar which will cause the potato to darken when cooked.
