1/2 Crenshaw melon, seeded and cubed into bite-size pieces2 cups watermelon cubes or balls10 fresh mint leaves2 fresh basil leaves1 tbsp organic cane sugar2 tbsp fresh lime juice
Place Crenshaw and watermelon cubes a mixing bowl. In a mortar and pestle, grind mint, basil, and sugar. When herbs have been pressed into a green paste, add lime juice to dissolve sugar. Pour over melons and toss. Serve immediately.
