6-7 very ripe Nectarines2/3 cup water5 oz sugar1-2 tsp fresh Lemon juice
1. Dice the nectarines, but don''t peel them. Add the water and bring to a boil. Cover and let cook for ten minutes. Add the sugar, stir until it''s dissolved, and then leave to cool completely. 2. Mix in a blender or with a handheld blender, and add the lemon. Chill very well, preferrably over night, and then freeze in an ice-cream machine for about 15-20 minutes.
Navel oranges are available November through May with peak supplies in January, February and March, so now is the time to enjoy them while you can!
