Bamboo Shoots

Usage: Common Asian cooking ingredient. Use with other Oriental vegetables
or serve raw as an entree.
Selection: Also called Choke-sun, Take-noko and chun-sun, Bamboo
shoots are flat, opaque slices that come from the bamboo plant, which looks
like asparagus. Shelf life is up to two years.
