Types of Citrus Fruit

Citrus fruits are valued for the tartness of their juices, their unique fragrances and because they are a good source of Vitamin C and flavonoids.

Some varieties of grapefruit and other citrus, especially Valencia oranges, will "re-green" if they remain on the tree long enough. This does not affect the flavor or quality of the fruit.
